Pick-up trucks are great for hauling cargo, supplies and even pulling trailers and boats. But unfortunately, without a tonneau cover your truck’s usability is limited. For example, you won’t be able to haul certain items during rain or snowstorms if your truck bed has no cover. If you do choose to haul items in bad weather, you’ll have to take extra time to cover your cargo with a tarp and tie it securely to keep the wind from blowing it off. Good classic metal guitar pickup?
I just picked up a BC Rich Bich NJ Series guitar. It has a floyd rose and “Select” by EMG pickups in it. I heard mixed reviews about these pickups, and figured I’d just put something better in the guitar. I used to have an EMG H4 Passive pickup. It did the job pretty well, but want to go for something that’s a little more old school metal sounding. Something that sounds Randy Rhoads, but will sound good with heavy metal like Lamb of God or something. I was looking at the DiMarzio Super Distortion and was considering it. I’m only looking for the bridge, I’m not replacing the neck. Any suggestions?
If they’ll fit, Gibson dual-pole humbucker pickups are good. $expensive$ – even on eBay unless they’re all cruddy and rusted which you obviously don’t want.
Maybe the repair shop at Guitar center or Gabe’s Rare Guitar shop if you have one near you has some that they’ll part with for cheap.
