Question To Guitarists? Another One.?
Here Is The Deal, Line 6 Spider 3 serious are not too good. But does that mean all the Liner 6 Spider’s are not too good?
Because I tried A Line 6 Spider Valve Bogner And Really Liked It. I Need To Try More Amps.
Also Is The Bogner Series Any Good?
Thanks.
I’ve got a Line 6 Flextone III (500 quid with the footboard) and I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve used it live and in the studio. Unlike one of the other replies, I would cheerfully continue to use Line 6 products over a valve amp (and I’ve had a few) basically because of the sheer versatility. A valve amp will give you the characteristics of that amp alone – and even then you might need to add some stomp boxes – whereas the Flextone gives me a whole bundle AND excellent onboard FX . I’m told the Vetta is better again, so you might want to consider moving up from the Spider price range.
However, in the same price bracket, you could also try a Roland Cube. I’ve got a Cube 60 that I use for recording and it’’s a damn fine piece of kit for the money. Cost £175.
Have fun and keep playing.
